psychological stress, lack of some nutritional components and
too much of others, like fat.
Another component of aging is the reduction of the telomere
chains at the chromosome ends, as each ...

QID - QOD: What's The Difference?
To Frank(not his real name), and thousands of others like him,
the difference is a matter of life and death. Our story begins
when Frank was admitted to a hospital with breathing
difficulties. His physician ordered the usual breathing
treatments, tests and medication.
After a few days in the hospital, Frank's recovery had
progressed steadily, but he still wasn't strong enough to return
home. Arrangements were made to admit him to a skilled nursing

THE "FRIENDLY" BACTERIA Necessary To Health! © By Lena Sanchez
Yes, there is a friendly and necessary bacterium required to
stay health. Let me tell you a true story.
17 years ago, my 2 year-old grandson had been having diarrhea
for weeks and nothing seemed to stop it. The doctor had given
prescriptions and a diet that wasn't touching it. After two
weeks of diarrhea it had became watery and blood tinged making
my grandson one tired and cranky little boy as his system was

How the Boy Scout motto can help you lose weight.
Be Prepared. For the Boy Scouts it means you are always ready in
body and mind to do your duty. How can you use this motto to
help you in your weight loss efforts?
I am of the school of thought that starvation is not the way to
lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle. My thinking has always
been to make the right choices in the foods we eat. For many
people, it is not overeating that is their enemy-it is the wrong
choices. This article is ...

Holistic Health
Holistic Health
Health is defined by the WHO as 'a state of physical, mental and
social well-being, not merely an absence of diseases or
infirmity'. Flexible adjustment to the changing demands of
environment is health and it is not a state.
Genuine health is the perfect functioning of the tripod of Body,
Mind & Soul.
Holistic healthcare recognizes the effect of sociological,
psychological, economic, ecological and even political
influences on health.
Before 1960, only Allopathic medicine was ...

Mad Cow Disease Revisited
Mad Cow Disease Revisited
Thomas Ogren The practice of feeding animals to non-carnivorous
domestic animals is one that must be stopped now. It is entirely
possible that the current news of mad cow disease is but the tip
of the iceberg for future potential health problems. When I used
to milk cows I was encouraged by my vet to add "bone meal" to my
feed as a way to increase protein levels in the dairy grain.
Normally we would use extra soybean meal to jack the protein
levels, but many farmers ...

Brain Power Versus Computer
Your brain uses almost 20% of all the oxygen you take into your
lungs. Your blood carries the oxygen to your brain. This is why
clogged arteries cause memory loss and organizational skills
impairment. Today's society is a fast food society and fast
foods are basically void of nutrients and full of artery
clogging fats.
You hear a great deal these days about information processing -
usually has "new age technology" tacked onto the end of it
usually referring to the revolution that has occurred ...

Don't call it a disease!
They are now calling being overweight a disease. Well, what
next! You've really got to wonder whether calling being
overweight a disease a good idea at all. I mean, it's not like a
conventional disease in the sense that you can go off to a
doctor and get a prescription written out for. This is very
ifferent and should be treated as such.
The biggest mistake we make with being overweight is trying to
fit our condition into a nice pigeon hole. Call it a name and

What Is Natural Health?
Quite simply, natural health means maintaining good health
naturally through the air we breathe, the water we drink, the
foods and fluids we consume, and also through our daily physical
movement and activities, rest and sleep, and interactions with
other people. In summary, it is how we live in our bodies on a
daily basis.
Natural healing involves moving from a state of non-health into

Memory loss may affect us with greater frequency, as we get

Memory Loss In Alzheimer's Disease
Memory loss in early Alzheimer's can be difficult to detect at
times. Is it just forgetfulness, or is there a real problem
going on?
